I worked for many years in the child welfare system, and in related agencies.

With an understanding that no two situations are alike and that every person's struggles arise from a different background, we are able to set a personalized approach to your therapy. I've offered an array of services to families, adults, and children struggling with bipolar, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other life challenges. I have ample experience with children with autism, and am working tow

ard certification in behaviorism therapy for children on the spectrum (BCBA). I've also facilitated self-esteem and grief groups in school settings, and frequently use play therapy. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy, but also incorporate solution-focused, strength-based, and person-centered modalities where helpful. I've undergone extensive training in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, and am equipped to help clients who have survived traumatic events.
