Last nights holiday adventure took us to Hollywood Studios. They have some of our favorite decorations. Sadly, they got rid of the Osborne lights they used to have which were spectacular. It was a lovely evening, cool but not cold; perfect for enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Reminder that I am working on scheduled projects and will be out of the office soon. But will be sharing pics.

I am in the office but only working on scheduled projects. Please hold on to updates as I can't get to them until after I get back and preferably after the new year.

Trying to enjoy the festive season this year. I understand a lot of people don't see my posts or notice the out of office on my email signature so trying here to get the message out. I love making the pretty books and appreciate being busy but really really need some time off and with my family to make cookies, see holiday decorations, and watch the Christmas rom-com movies. And will actually be traveling and out of town soon.

Yesterday's holiday adventure took us to the Magic Kingdom. As you can see in the pic, dark clouds looming....soon after arriving, it began to rain. Then pour. We went on the Carousel of Progress to get out of it but it was still raining. Had a quick bite, walked around and saw the pretty decorations and the castle lit up. My pic of that did not turn out. We were soaked even with raincoats so we, and a lot of other guests, headed for the exit. Monorail line was long so the ferry it was. Packed us all in there and I enjoyed watching a dad with some kids playing Simon says until we docked.

Plan was to go back to Epcot today and see some of the storytellers this afternoon but the forecast is calling for more rain...so working, watching Santa is Comin' to Town. Will do some wrapping instead. And stay dry ;)

This past week we attended the Candellight Processional at Epcot. This has been a yearly tradition for us and I always feel like the season has truly begun once we go. This year the narrator we saw was Susan Egan, Broadway star and for Disney, the voice of Megara in Hercules. And yes, she ended the show with "It's been a reaal slice."

This is how the show begins, there is a live orchestra along with the Voices of Liberty. The choir in yellow are from high schools. They do 3 shows nightly, and the narrators are usually there for a few nights. We have seen quite a few over the years and she was fabulous, as they all are.

Plans for more this weekend and will share pics. The holidays in Florida are very different from mine growing up in Buffalo, that's for sure!

Last tree is decorated....looks even prettier at night.

Reminder that I am only doing scheduled work now. Mr. Blake and I have plans to attend the Epcot Candlelight processional with our son. This is a yearly tradition and just really gets the season started for us.

The first year we went, we saw Eartha Kitt…she was amazing. We've seen many fabulous narrators over the years, but she was the best.

Right now, I am scheduling March and beyond! So if you need dates next year, it's a great time to get on my calendar.

Lots of holiday plans for us before we leave for our trip, will try to post pics of our adventures ;)
