Our team recently published research on intraoperative navigation and how it can help surgeons achieve negative tumor margins while protecting critical structures during complex pediatric head and neck tumor surgery.

As a surgeon—and the father of two little boys—I’m constantly reminded that every patient is someone’s child.

Honored to have presented virtually at American Society Of Plastic Surgery Annual Meeting in New Orleans.

My talk, “Pediatric Maxillectomies: Reconstruction or Let It Be?”, highlighted the nuances that make tumor removal in children distinct from adults and discussed why reconstruction is not always necessary.

It was a privilege to share this panel with my mentor, Dr. Anthony Tufaro from the Cleveland Clinic, and to continue advancing specialized care for children with head and neck cancer. Thank you for the invitation. .grey_
