When César walked into Orlando Health Emergency Room - Osceola with symptoms of chest pain and fatigue, he had no idea he was experiencing a life-threatening heart attack.
In under 30 minutes, the emergency team identified a complete blockage in a coronary artery and immediately sprang into action, stabilizing César for helicopter transfer with the Orlando Health Air Care team to receive advanced cardiac care at Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. Thanks to the team’s rapid response, César’s blocked artery was cleared and blood flow restored in less than 90 minutes, surpassing the industry standard.
César recently returned to the ER that saved his life to thank the team who made it possible. Stories like César’s are a powerful reminder that when every second counts, teamwork, speed and compassion can save lives. ❤️
