Our event, Unspoken, yesterday was intimate & warm ✨ Gathered around the fire, we shared poems and readings in honor of the voices of survivors.

We were able to step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharge with nature and the wonderful therapy horses we know & love 🐴🤎

We are grateful to Painted Oaks for being our home, & to the incredible people who showed up to share their voice. Stay tuned for our next event 🫶🏼

Today we stood in awareness, remembrance, and commitment.

Life Reins participated in the Red Sand Event at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office as a human trafficking service provider — honoring survivors and the strength it takes to heal.

Through trauma-informed, Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy, we walk alongside survivors as they reconnect with safety, agency, and their own resilience.

We are thankful for partnerships that prioritize dignity, education, and hope.

Meet Chi, the youngest baby of the herd at our Howey-in-the-Hills location—and quite possibly the fuzziest one too 🐴✨
Chi is tender, sensitive, and easily anxious, always taking in the world around him with wide-open awareness.

Being in Chi’s presence naturally invites grounding, patience, and mindfulness. He offers a powerful opportunity for clients to slow down, regulate their breath, and become deeply aware of how their energy impacts others.

Working with Chi can support:
• Practicing nervous system regulation
• Building tolerance for uncertainty
• Strengthening present-moment awareness
• Learning gentle co-regulation through calm connection
