Joshua is 5 months old. He was turning only to the right and rolling over only on the right. He had his first adjustment last week and rolled over on the left
THE SAME DAY!!

He latches better, rolls and looks both ways .

When the top bone of the neck (ATLAS) misaligns, it affects many areas including heart rate, breath rate, digestive and immune function. When babies are stuck in one side, they develop a flat side of the head and have trouble feeding from that side.

Babies get adjusted differently than adults; It’s a sustained contact. Many babies sleep right through it!

Robert is 7 weeks old. His mom brought him in today because he is developing a flat spot on the right side of his skull. His head was tilted to the far right and he couldn’t straighten it so laying on the side made it flat. After one adjustment he was able to hold his head almost completely to the center on his own!!

The first bone in the spine (Atlas) protects the brain stem. This area is responsible for very important processes: heart rate, breath rate, temperature- to name a few. When it’s misaligned, it causes problems like anxiety, restlessnesss, digestives issues, latching issues, sleep issues, etc.

If breath rate is “off” the baby gets more air and causes reflux, colic, gas, etc.
that area also directly causes a baby’s anxiety because they’re in “fight or flight” mode.

We didn’t get a before picture in the office but his mom sent a picture of his “before” posture with his head all the way to the right and the picture in the car seat she took while he was still in the office, immediately after his first adjustment.

The first Dr. Cynthia's Mother Daughter Tea Party was 10 years ago today! I wanted to find a fun, feminine and whimsical way to introduce the topic of puberty to my beloved 8 year old daughter. Little did I know that she and my mother would support me on this passion project by participating in every single one to date!
It has evolved and grown into something I’m truly proud of!

Dr. Cynthia's Mother Daughter Tea Party is this Sunday!!! If you have or know a girl between 8 and 12, you won't want to miss this event.
When was the last time you dressed up with your little girl for high tea? You will get to spend one on one time in activities that build bonds and communication skills to last a lifetime. We also cover all the wonderful changes their bodies will go through in puberty. The feedback I get from mothers and daughters is overwhelmingly positive!
Let us know if you are coming with other moms and friends so we can seat you together!

In case you didn’t know… at Gabaldon Chiropractic, we offer a pediatric package where see all your kids as ONE visit. In other words, if you have four kids and they all come to the same visit, you are only charged for one visit. Depending on the package you choose, visits can be as low as $45. It’s our way to encourage the family to receive care and not just the kid with the symptoms. We want them ALL to be healthy ❤️
