Honor Pride month and the memory of the 49 beautiful spirits lost at Pulse Nightclub by coming together for the Central Florida Sounds of Freedon Band and Color Guard's 10th Anniversary Concert on June 13th at 3pm at the Plaza Live

“On the Shoulders of Giants” is the third and final performance for the Central Florida Sounds of Freedom 2020-2021 10th Anniversary Concert Series “United We Rise”. The concert will feature a commissioned piece by American composer and marching arts designer Randall Standridge, as well as new music that is propelling the band into its second decade and crowd favorite pieces. The concert represents a significant milestone in the band’s growth and evolution as an ambassador of LGBTQ+ awareness, acceptance and equality through quality entertainment as we move into a larger venue at The Plaza Live. “On the Shoulders of Giants” will be performed leveraging safety protocols developed to protect performers and the audience. The venue will be at reduced capacity with seating physically distanced. The audience will be required to wear face coverings. Performers will wear special face coverings and the bells in wind instruments will be appropriately covered. All these factors make it possible to return to the stage in grand fashion after a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
