Another Back to School Bash in the books! OBFH’s medical, dental, and HIV Services outreach teams had an incredible time alongside so many organizations who are committed to providing quality care and resources to our community!

A special thank you to Macedonia MBC Eatonville FL for providing the space for all of us to come and serve and to Family Promise of Greater Orlando for spearheading this amazing initiative to help children and families going back to school this year.

Orange Blossom Family Health recently hosted a powerful healthcare roundtable with community health center leaders from across Central Florida to address how newly passed federal legislation could impact access to care for low-income, uninsured, and homeless populations.

We were honored to welcome Representative Maxwell Alejandro Frost and US Rep Darren Soto, who joined the conversation to listen, offer insights, and collaborate on strategies that support healthcare workers and patients alike during this time of change.

Special thanks to our elected officials, their teams, and our President & CEO Bakari F. Burns, for championing these vital discussions. In the face of shifting policies and uncertain terrain, OBFH remains committed—alongside our partners in the community healthcare space—to ensuring that everyone receives compassionate, high-quality healthcare in a space where they are seen, heard, and treated with dignity.

Earlier this summer, Orange Blossom Family Health had the honor of collaborating with leaders and staff from the OCPS Academic Center for Excellence and Jones High School - OCPS during an impactful cabinet retreat! 🧡

Our gathering not only allowed us to reflect on the previous academic year but also enabled us to devise strategies and solutions aimed at enhancing the experience of our students in the upcoming school year.

We at OBFH take pride in being a community health partner for these two remarkable schools and are eagerly anticipating the 2025-2026 academic year!
