For Westminster Oaks Retirement Community resident Lisa, the Keiser STEP program (Stronger Together, Empowering Performance) was the spark she needed to reignite her wellness journey.

The results of our 12-week pilot are in and feature major milestones in active aging:
✅ 20.41% improvement in sit-to-stand speed
✅ 17.6% increase in upper body power
✅ Enhanced cognitive abilities and memory

From experts to residents at our Life Plan Community, the consensus is clear: strength training is the foundation for a purposeful, independent life. 🚶‍♀️💪

A Legacy of Service 🎬 We are honored to debut the official trailer for our documentary project, "From Shore to Shore: A Living Legacies Project."

The film depicts four residents whose lives were built on service during World War II. Whether through military or civilian efforts, their contributions shaped history and their continued spirit of service has defined their lives.

A special thanks to our partners Jack York and the team at Talegate4Joy for their vision in bringing these "Living Legacies" to the screen.

As part of our Ignite programming theme, residents at our Life Plan Communities across the state spent discovering how to support the environment while staying active and deeply connected to the natural world. From soil to sea, our residents took action by:

🥗 Farm-to-Table Education: Partnering with 4Roots to explore how nutrient-dense produce fuels longevity (and tasting the fresh harvests destined for our dining rooms!).
♻️ Environmental Stewardship: Spearheading local community clean-ups and eco-friendly thrifting excursions.
🏞️ Outdoor Adventure: Staying active with kayaking trips and guided visits to Florida’s stunning state parks.

These experiences are intentionally designed to spark wellness, connection, and lifelong learning—all while nurturing a healthier planet for future generations.

A Milestone Celebration at Westminster Baldwin Park 🏆

Today, we officially commemorated a significant achievement: the formal presentation of the Governor’s Gold Seal Award for Excellence in Long-Term Care.

We were honored to welcome Secretary Shevaun Harris of the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and Deputy Secretary Kimberly Smoak, who joined us to recognize the relentless dedication of our team. This distinction, held by less than 2% of facilities statewide, is a testament to the clinical excellence of our nurses and the unwavering commitment of our dining, maintenance, and support teams.

While the certificate is a prestigious honor, the true reward is the promise kept to the residents and families we are privileged to serve every day. This celebration was for you!
