Haber elegido a Katherin como mi doula ha sido la mejor experiencia. Desde el día uno me sentí acompañada, dándome ese apoyo emocional y compartiendo sus conocimientos para prepararme para el día más esperado. Tuve un parto soñado gracias a su incondicional support. No me alcanzarían las palabras para expresar la gratitud que siento. 💬

Uno de los momentos más indescriptibles de la vida, es presenciar un parto 🫶🏻
Mil felicidades por el nacimiento tan bello de Lucca y gracias por honrarme con la oportunidad de apoyarlos!

Thought I’d share some tools used that were GOLDEN during active phase of labor: 📋

1. Minimal time on bed (only toward the end using peanut ball between legs before pushing) when she got to take a power nap
2. Hydration (no IV used) with coconut water and ice chips
3. Sitting on the toilet (it truly is the “dilation station” and helps baby drop and get into position)
5. Wooden comb to hold on to while practicing deep breathing inhale 1234 exhale 5678910
6. Hydrotherapy (mom got on the birth ball in the shower and since wireless monitors are waterproof, she got to relax to the feeling and sound of water on her back and belly)
7. Her choice of music & essential oils
8. Positive birth affirmations read in Spanish over and over again to remind her of her strength
9. Mom led pushing and minimal chit chat happening around her at all times
10. Birth preference/plan was handed out at the beginning and referred to as needed yet being open and flexible in the process

Yes, I love and miss the earlier years of their lives, but I am MARVELED by THIS very season of motherhood I’m living which I also LOVE and know I’ll also miss one day 🥲🤍

Reminiscing on past births brings me so much joy. I recently received this from clients, and I’m also forever grateful! 🤍

~I am beyond grateful for the incredible support and care Katherin provided throughout my birth experience. From the moment I reached out to her, she was there, listening to me , involving my husband as well ,our concerns, supporting our decisions, and helping me feel at ease. Her presence made such a difference in creating a calm and beautiful experience during labor, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Even after the birth, she continued to check in and ensure I was well taken care of, she brought me the most delicious and nourishing meal when most needed . What stood out most was how special she made our entire family feel, always ensuring everyone felt involved and supported. I truly believe my birth experience was so positive because of Katherin and I’m incredibly thankful for everything she did. ~
