Your success is not in your ability to convince or change someone else, but rather in your ability to articulate what you feel and what you need, in a way that COULD be heard by someone who is open to accountability, all while staying regulated and creating a vibe of safety for all involved

We are quick to label triggering people as toxic or write people off with when in reality any close relationship is going to trigger you. The question is, what will you do when it happens?

I see this so often - the healthy grief of finally feeling self compassion for trauma you’ve endured, the grief of realizing how many boundaries have been crossed and needs unmet, time lost to living as less than before you realized your worth. It’s grief, but a beautiful one 💜

We all want to feel seen, safe, and loved. In no relationship is this more true than with a romantic partner. In a healthy and secure relationship, we get the chance to heal past wounds, grow as a person, and find feelings of safety we may never have experienced before.
