Challenging the world to stand with us and "Whip" Childhood Cancer!! a 501(c)3 non-profit organization Whipping Childhood Cancer was founded in September 2014.

We are a non-profit Organization recognized as exempt under Section 501(c)(3). Jenny Mena Silviano (founder) and Candice Genua (co-founder) met while their children were battling childhood cancer. They always knew they wanted to do something to advocate and be the voice for their children and all the children battling cancer. The movement and challenge was such a success that the decision was made to continue to bring awareness but more importantly to raise funds for much needed underfunded childhood cancer research. Our Organization is formed by Mothers of children battling some form of childhood cancer, We are ready to "whip childhood cancer out of the globe!"

They didn’t choose this battle, but they chose each other.
Through hospital rooms, chemo days, fear, tears, and endless uncertainty… they found laughter. They found strength. They found sisterhood.
Cancer may have brought them together, but love is what kept them connected.
Watching them now smiling, thriving, standing side by side is proof that the hardest chapters can create the most unbreakable friendships.
This is more than survival.
This is sisterhood forged in courage.

On World Cancer Day, we celebrate stories of hope, resilience, and the lives that prove healing is possible.

Katelyn Silviano is one of those stories.
At just 18 years old, she is a childhood cancer survivor who has been in remission for 12 incredible years. Her journey didn’t end with survival it blossomed into purpose.

Katelyn has turned her experience into impact:

✨ Hope Ambassador for Runway to Hope
✨ Honored Hero for Visionaries of the Year Orlando supporting Blood Cancer United

She uses her voice to advocate, her heart to serve, and her story to inspire. Katelyn reminds us that survivorship is not just about living it’s about lifting others along the way.

Today we honor every child fighting, every survivor thriving, and every family holding on to hope.
Because behind every ribbon is a real story, a real family, and a real reason to keep pushing for cures.

Every year, through Martinez Cargo Express, we deliver stuffed animals to children with cancer in Colombia, and your help is immensely appreciated.
