Paralympian athlete regaswoods gave Harvey Parry some tips on making safe and smooth turns while walking before Harvey headed home to England today. Both of them wear TailLor Made prosthetic feet. The design of this foot enables independent heel and forefoot movement to provide shock absorption, ankle motion, and ground traction for excellent stability without compromising energy return. This is especially important for bilateral above knee amputees, as it allows them to walk with control and confidence.

Josh has been wearing the TLM prosthetic foot for two years now. Previous to that he wore a high activity foot that allowed him to run and participate in many other activities. When Josh tried the TLM foot, he discovered that the it allowed him to participate in those same activities, but is much better for everyday walking. That's why he made the switch!

I spent too many years of my life trying to fit in, to blend, to be like everyone else. I was often afraid to share my heart in fear that people would get tired of hearing it.

Now at nearly 33 years old, I'm just happy being me. Half a leg less, but getting a lot smarter everyday.

I realize the need to share isn’t about my own circumstances, but about the connection I make with others who are struggling.

We each have light that NEEDS to be shared so badly. But perhaps most importantly, we have to be vulnerable enough to receive light too, so that ours never goes out.

So here’s mine for anyone that may need a little extra today. I truly believe connection HEALS, and the only way we make it through is TOGETHER.
