A note from your clinician... My life's purpose is to make a difference. I want the world to know of the limitless benefits Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine have to offer. The year I turned 20 I was diagnosed with Mesial Temporal Sclerosis with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. In plain English this means I was suffering from a rare kind of epilepsy and it was causing irreversible scarring on my brain. After many doctor's visits, countless tests and failed treatment plans with lots of medication that didn't work, my neurologist sat me down and told me I would never beat this illness and that eventually, my seizures would cause irreversible brain damage. I dealt with this condition for 3 years without hope, I couldn't help but wonder if something else was possible. I took my first act of courage by sharing with everyone I knew about my condition and asking for help. Many ideas were offered, in fact, I made a list of all 87 suggestions my friends and family offered me and #7 on the list was Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After over a decade of consistent treatments, undaunted determination and many disciplined lifestyle adjustments, I cay say with pride and gratitude that I am seizure-free! During my healing process I have fallen in love with this medicine. I have given my life over to be of service by creating the environment for healing within each person I treat. I consider it a real privilege that I have been invited to join you on your journey to achieving the best health possible and I can't wait to take care of you.
