I wanted to take a moment to share a moment that touched my heart this past weekend. Azalea Park United Methodist Church's new pastor, Rev. Stanley, shared a beautiful message about Santiago & Friends and the ministry we have built together. I was in tears for so many reasons—but mostly because he reminded me of my why.
In the day-to-day grind and today's environment, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by challenges and negativity. But celebrating the wins—no matter how small—will always matter more. Each of us is here for a purpose and I truly believe we’re called to leave a positive imprint on someone’s heart.
If you work with us, volunteer, or have partnered with us in any way…thank you! You’ve chosen a path that helps families live just a little bit better—and I am endlessly grateful for the love, patience, and effort you pour in daily.
To our team at Santiago & Friends in Orlando—Rev. Stanley is new to APUMC (just two weeks in!), but someone among you made a powerful impression. He may not have known your name, but your kindness reminded him of his why. What we do when no one is watching is the clearest reflection of who we are.
To the families that entrust us with your children, thank you! Together with your love and support we will continue to make a difference in their lives.
Rev. Stanley's message reminded me why I love what I do. And it reminded me how powerful this ministry of presence really is.
Thank you for being who you are—for showing up, for loving big, and for believing in our kiddos and their families. ❤️
Here’s the video for you to hear Rev. Stanley’s message for yourself.
With love,
