Looking for a fun and meaningful way to help your child grow this summer? 🌱
At Providence Counseling, our Summer Game Club helps kids build confidence, practice social skills, and learn emotional regulation. All these skills will be taught through play, connection, and creativity. 💛

From learning how to lead and follow, to handling winning & losing with confidence, navigating fairness, and managing big emotions without “rage quitting." Each session is designed to equip kids with real-life tools in a supportive, inclusive space. 📖

The Bible and modern neuroscience both remind us of the importance of where we place our focus. Science calls this process cognitive restructuring and neuroplasticity. This is the brain’s ability to change and grow through repeated thought patterns.

Are you angry? Step back and think about what you’re really feeling. Was something not fair or right? Were you hurt or disrespected? It’s okay to be angry, however it is critical that you stay in control of your anger. Calm your body down by doing something active, then take time to think about what happened and use the appropriate words to communicate what happened and how you feel.
