October is Health Literacy Month. Many people need help understanding medical information, which can lead to poor health decisions and outcomes.

By improving health literacy, we can better manage our health, understand treatment options, and navigate the healthcare system more effectively.

This month-long event aims to bridge gaps in knowledge, making health information easier to access and understand. Especially as we age it is imperative we understand our health and our options in health care.
