Effective August 1, 2024 Genesis Family Practice Ormond Beach location will be closing permanently. Our office will remain staffed until September 30, 2024 for anyone who would like to retrieve records. If you are a current patient and need to be seen you can contact our Orange City urgent care location at 1133 Saxon Blvd. Orange City 386-878-4137; they are open Mon - Fri 8am -6pm. Sat 9am - 4pm, Sun 9am - 2pm

Genesis Family Practice would like to wish all of our patients and friends a very happy holiday! Genesis Family Practice will be open December 24th from 8am - 12noon, we will be closed Christmas Day, we will reopen normal business hours on Monday December 28th. Our urgent care located in our Orange City office will be open December 24th until 2pm, closed Christmas Day and reopen for normal business hours on December 26th. In observance of the Independence Day holiday Genesis Family Practice will be closed Friday July 3rd and Monday July 6th; we will reopen at 8:30am Tuesday July 7th. If you need to see a provider or have an urgent medical need please call or visit our Urgent Care located at 1133 Saxon Blvd. Orange City (in the same lobby as our Orange City primary care office) or call 386-878-4137 for assistance.

Due to limited staffing at this time the Ormond beach office will be closed the week of March 30th. Those patients needing to be seen in office, including Suboxone can schedule an appointment in our Orange City office. Starting Monday March 30th Genesis Family Practice will offer telehealth services to help ease the stress of having to come into the office to be seen. Self pay rate for telehealth is $89, if you have insurance check with your insurance provider to ensure telehealth is a covered service. Services will be provided by appointment only. Some medications cannot be refilled through telehealth and at this time Suboxone therapy is still only offered in office. Call 386-228-9700 to schedule your appointment!

For the safety and concern of both our patients and staff we are asking our Genesis Family Practice patients to refrain from coming into the office for visits that do not involve necessary medication refills or sick visits. Our staff will be reaching out to those who are currently scheduled in the coming week to see what we can do to either assist by phone or schedule you an appointment time that will prevent waiting and overcrowding in our lobby. Please be patient with our staff as they work to get in touch with everyone and make any accommodations we can. The phone lines have been very busy; we will get in touch with everyone as quickly as we can. As always, healthy regards from us to you.
