We’ve heard survivors disclose….
“When I tried to go back to school he burned my books.”
“My abuser would keep me up all night by creating arguments the night before he knew I had an exam.”
“He would cause a scene at my job and get me fired.”
“I couldn’t keep jobs because I would call out a lot to avoid my bruises being seen.”

We have challenge what we believe to be true about domestic violence, it’s not always the image of a physical attack. DV is a very complex topic, that impacts families in different ways.
