Obstacles to Care: Navigating Challenging Clients

In this session on Obstacles to Care, Lise will discuss the hard to keep, hard to treat, hard to motivate, hard to soothe client. She will talk about employing Bach Flower Essences in traditional homeopathic care. Often in practice, we face clients who may be too nervous, or fearful, or new to homeopathy to jump in. Some clients start and don't come back for a follow up. Some clients are on medications that present an obstacle to cure, making homeopathic remedies a bit more likely to be antidoted. These cases present unique challenges, what Lise likes to call, Obstacles to Care. Lise has been using Bach Flower Essences with homeopathy and without for over 15 years. Lise will share cases with anxiety, GERD, benzodiazepine tapering and more. If you have challenging cases like this, you won't want to miss this talk.

A COVID story with a happy ending is a success! Here’s one of Denise Straiges 💚 President of AHE and a Homeopath that really stands out.

A friend had referred to her an ER doctor and pulmonologist at a major Maryland hospital. He had been working on the frontlines treating the first round of COVID-19 patients and became symptomatic. The hospital quickly sent him home with orders to "ride it out."

When Straiges was contacted, the doctor had been symptomatic for only 12 hours. By the time the homeopathic remedy Straiges suggested was dropped off, the doctor couldn't even get out of bed. "He told me that he felt so bad he couldn't even get up to walk across the room to get the remedy," Staiges says. "It took him about three hours to work up the strength to walk across the room."

Completely out of breath and in bad shape, he took the remedy and then repeated it again four hours later. "When I spoke to him—eight hours after he started taking the remedy—he was up and said he felt 70 percent better."

A couple of days later, the doctor felt like he might be relapsing, the day after that his symptoms changed, so she suggested a different remedy, Within a short time of taking the second remedy, he was up and moving around, and two days later he was back at work. Total down time after a severe COVID-19 attack: six days.

"Needless to say, he was incredibly surprised at the results. He knew he had had only one type of medical intervention—homeopathy." Straiges laughs. "The proof, as they say, is in the pudding."
