We ended our week in Paris with a wonderful “Afternoon in Paris”! ✨

Our community was transformed into a charming Parisian café, complete with delicious food and wine. Residents enjoyed the sounds of an accordion player strolling from table to table, followed by a lively piano sing-along that had everyone joining in. 🎶

The dining room was beautifully decorated, and everyone embraced the theme wearing berets and scarves. From the music to the décor, it truly felt like we had stepped right onto the streets of Paris. 🗼

It was a magical ending to a fantastic week of exploring all things Paris!

We are celebrating a week in Paris here at Ormond in the Pines! 🇫🇷✨

We kicked off the week with our Travelogue Armchair Travelers, who enjoyed watching A Summer in Paris. Residents also had fun viewing Paris-themed movies that transported us straight to the City of Light.

The creativity continued with Paris-themed crafts, where residents decoupaged miniature Eiffel Tower masterpieces. 🗼🎨

Paris Week is in full effect here at Ormond in the Pines! 🇫🇷✨

We continued our Paris-themed fun with a special painting class led by Veronica from Art Attack Florida. Our talented residents created their own beautiful masterpieces, featuring stunning Eiffel Tower scenes inspired by Paris. 🗼🎨

The creativity and talent on display were truly amazing. We are loving our trip to Paris without ever leaving home! More fun to come!

We had a fantastic time yesterday celebrating Mardi Gras at Ormond in the Pines! 💜💛💚

Earlier in the week, we got into the festive spirit by making our own Mardi Gras masks to wear to the party. Everyone had so much fun getting creative with feathers, beads, glitter, and bright colors. It was wonderful to see each person’s unique design come to life—and wearing our handmade masks made the celebration even more special! 🎭

For lunch and dinner, we enjoyed delicious Cajun food and a traditional D**g Phuong King Cake for dessert. The celebration continued with lively music by Northern Sounds, which had us dancing and singing along.

Everyone was dressed in their very best Mardi Gras attire, beads were handed out, and we enjoyed a fabulous New Orleans punch.

Great memories, lots of laughs, and such a wonderful day here at Ormond in the Pines! 🎉✨

Valentine’s Day was a huge celebration here at Ormond in the Pines! ❤️

We had an entire day filled with fun activities—from our flower arranging workshop to Valentine-themed bingo with prizes. The festivities continued at our Valentine’s Day Social, where we danced, sang, and enjoyed delicious treats and classic root beer floats.

One of the highlights of the day was crowning the 2026 King and Queen of Ormond in the Pines. Congratulations to Ann and Bill! 👑 Their court runners-up were Sam & Shirley and Darlene & Vince. The royal court was voted on by both residents and staff.

Congratulations to you all! What a wonderful day full of fun, laughter, and celebration. 💕

On Valentine’s Day, our Celebration Team at Ormond in the Pines put together a special “Spread the Love” cart. 💕

They traveled door-to-door, surprising residents with flowers, sweet treats, and festive balloons. It was such a joyful and unexpected moment when doors opened to smiles, love, and Valentine’s cheer.

There’s nothing better than spreading kindness and brightening someone’s day. 💐✨

On Valentine’s Day, we hosted our Valentine-themed Flowers & Mimosas Flower Arranging Workshop. Residents created beautiful floral arrangements to take home and enjoy.

They also made a second arrangement to gift to a friend or someone in the community who may have needed a little extra cheer.

Everyone truly enjoyed spreading this simple act of kindness. It brought so much joy—not only to the person receiving the flowers, but also to the one giving them.

Sometimes, the smallest gestures make the biggest impact. 💐✨
