What we put IN our bodies is vital to the development and functioning of our mental and spiritual state.
Healthy Fats = omega 3’s (cognitive function, neurotransmitters, brain development)
Protein = building blocks for cell communication and serotonin, GABA and dopamine receptors
Complex carbs = glucose (brain fuel)
In Ayurvedic medicine, the state in which you are when preparing and eating your food has a huge impact on how your body absorbs its nutrients.
