Mardi Gras Celebration. 🎭 Special shout out to our Dining Services Staff. They made delicious Gumbo and homemade Kings Cake for dessert. To end the day we played Mardi Gras themed Bingo with Linda from Anthem Hospice. We love celebrating special days/holidays with our residents. ❤️

Celebrating National Pizza Day 🍕
We created our own personalized pizzas with Chef Dom 🧑‍🍳 It brought back many memories for some such as Ron working for his father's restaurant and David contributing to the development of the deep dish pizza for Pizza Hut. Of course the best part was eating the pizza! 🍕

Today we took the residents to the Oro Valley Car Show. They were impressed by all the awesome cars. Some family members also particpated in the event and met us there. The weather was nice and sunny, with numerous vendors, and most notably a diverse collection of antique cars. 🚙

Next outing is to Top Golf on 2/18. ⛳️

Eddie is apart of our Welcoming Committee and is committed to spreading joy and positivity every chance he gets. He takes great pleasure in making people smile. Anyone who joins our community will undoubtedly become familiar with him, as he consistently makes an effort to bring joy to everyone he meets and contributes significantly to the positivity within our community. We tried out a new game and loved it. The objective was to flip a card and stack how many cups the card flipped said. It could be a high number, a zonk, or making your competitor skip their turn. The first one to stack all their cups wins. What a fun competition 🏆

Our Residents have been actively engaged in crafting decorations to create a festive atmosphere for our upcoming Valentine's Event. As part of our SPARK program, Residents are encouraged to participate in everything that goes on at our community, from decorating and planning events, to choosing what activities we do. Later this week, our Events Committee will convene to finalize Valentine's plans. It is one of the many activities that provide them with a sense of purpose and belonging. ❤️
