Thank you Rob and Leslie from Traditions Health for the great game of JENGA! We all had a fun time trying our hardest not to make the Jenga collapse. Lots of laughs, precise and intense moments, but most of all, lots of fun! 🧱

There’s still time to donate! We will continue to collect food items through the beginning of next week for Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona!

🛒 It’s that time of year again, and we couldn’t be more excited!! Catalina Springs is hosting our annual canned food drive to help support The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. We have already collected quite a few items and will continue to collect donations until 11/24.

High demand items such as canned meats/proteins, canned vegetables or fruits, nut butters, ready-to-go meals (macaroni and cheese), grains like rice and quinoa as well as dried pasta make great food donations.

Bring your donations to our lobby and place them in the collection box 7 days a week from 9a-5p.

Meet Leo, Sol Dog Lodge's official canine ambassador. Gentle, social, and endlessly charming, he's here to greet guests, spread smiles and remind us why the human-dog bond matters.

Special thanks to Shelley for bringing Leo in for Pet Therapy! Our residents always enjoy your visits! You always do a fantastic job engaging with them , letting them give Leo his favorite treat, showing us some of his tricks he can do, and answering their many wonderful questions. We look forward to seeing you both again very soon! 🐕

Today we honored our Veterans. 🇺🇸
We had a wonderful ceremony. Special thanks to Amy who served in the Army for giving a beautiful speech, Linda and Debbie with Anthem Hospice for the certificates for all of our Veterans, Mindy and Pat with Agape Hospice for the treats and bringing in Amy, Sheri and Eddie who brought in gifts for our Veterans, Susan our resident who read the poem we all wrote as a community for our Veterans, and Eddie our resident who held the flag for us for the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner. We honor and appreciate all who have served and currently serve! 🇺🇸

We had a spooktacular time at our Halloween Party. The residents loved playing all the games and eating the candy. Special thanks to our residents who helped decorate for the event and the volunteers who helped run the games. One resident said “This brought memories of when I was younger and all the fun we had at Halloween” and how she was so excited to share some of the candy with her family. Moments like these remind us we’re never to “old” to have some fun. Age doesn’t define us. We’re still young at heart and enjoy celebrating holidays. 🎃 👻
