🎂 Today our Chef Dominic made homemade Tres Leche cakes for our Monthly Birthday Celebration.
For some Residents it was their first time trying Tres Leche and others it brought back memories of when they made it for their family. Residents rated it a 10/10 and kept saying how delicious it was.

🎵 Special thanks to Antonio with Harmony Community Healthcare for making our celebration extra special with a wonderful music performance.

🎉Happy Birthday to all our Residents and Staff who had a birthday in July. It was a great time celebrating you today! 🎉

🏡 Welcome Home, Sally!

Please help us welcome Catalina Springs’ newest Resident, Sally! Sally enjoys art and was an accomplished painter in her spare time, she loves music and has enjoyed meeting all of her new neighbors!

Catalina’s sprung into action to decorate Sally’s door, made her a “welcome to the neighborhood” basket and gave her a tour of her new home!

Booze & Tattoos with Azelea from Casa de la Luz Hospice - Tucson 🧡

What a wonderful time we had enjoying Casa Cocktails and getting temporary tattoos. Residents, staff, and providers joined in on the fun! Dee, Lily, and David were the tattoo artists giving us all tattoos! As one of our residents Susan said “Your never too old for a tattoo!”

Welcome Home, Dave! 🏠

Please help us extend a warm welcome to Catalina Springs’ newest Resident, Dave! Dave is an organizational wiz and loves to keep things neat and tidy. Dave has been loving all of the activities and new neighbors he has met and has been incredbily helpful in assisting our Activities Team!

Prior to Dave’s arrival at Catalina Springs, the Welcoming Committee wanted to make sure he felt right at home. The committee spent time making signs and welcome baskets for Dave to present upon his arrival.

BINGO with Agape Hospice!

Thanks to Piper from Agape Hospice & Palliative Care for hosting a bingo tournament at Catalina Springs this week! Piper brought the prizes and snacks for what proved to be a VERY competitive game!

4th of July was a BLAST 💥

Catalina Springs celebrated the 4th of July with a BBQ! Our Dining Services Team wanted to do something special for our Residents and their Families, so instead of the traditional hot dogs and hamburgers, they whipped up something creative! We dined on BBQ shortribs, Asian Cole slaw, homemade Mac and cheese with a smoked cheese sauce and a delicious Patiotic Cake decorated with fresh fruit! Dee was happy to lend Cris, one of our awesome cooks, some advice and a helping hand on the grill.

We are honored to have been able to celebrate this very special day with Y and her Family.

Catalina Residents decorated the Community with handmade decorations, we enjoyed a delicious cake and custom mocktails, a musical performance and even a dance party!
