🎳 Memory Masters Bowling League 🎳
What a fun time we had. The residents really showed off their bowling skills by winning Nurse Tia and Caregiver Alyssa. 👏
Every month, we will be visiting Pins bowling alley. There will be numerous prizes awarded to the champions and most improved participants. The residents are enjoying the competition. Next time you are in the community take a look at the scoreboard which is located in front of Nurse Tia's office.

📱⬇️ April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month. We collaborated with Phones Down, Just Drive to create bags containing information on the dangers of distracted driving. They distribute these to schools, police departments, and various organizations to raise awareness. We are grateful to have helped with such a great cause. 📱⬇️

Happy National Ferret Day to our favorite Ferret Tiggie! Our residents adore him. He is so calm and affectionate. If you would like to meet Tiggie, his next visit to Catalina Springs is April 27th at 10:30 am.

Community Update:

Catalina Springs was just notified by The Town of Oro Valley that there will be road paving, beginning at 6am 4/1/26, and Desert Sky will be closed at the turn from Oracle. Until paving is complete, you will be able to access the Community from either Linda Vista (road immediately south of Desert Sky on Oracle and taking either the first or second right turn if entering from Oracle) or El Conquistador (located at the lights North of the Community). If you have trouble finding these access points, please call the Community at (520)297-2500.

Today we went on an outing to Riverfront Park in celebration of National Take A Walk In The Park Day. The residents enjoyed strolling through the park with the beautiful nature surroundings, listening to birds chirping, swinging, and the Arizona sunny weather. ☀️

This month we celebrated Dr Seuss week. We held a spirit week and each day we read a book written by Dr Seuss. The residents thoroughly enjoyed reading and learning about Dr Seuss. 📕

Yesterday, we observed National Chip and Dip Day with Rob from Vital Caring. We gained insight into the historical origins of chips. We asked the residents' their preferred types of chips, and corn or tortilla chips were a favorite. We extend our gratitude to Rob for providing the delicious afternoon snack.

We went on a outing to Reid Park Zoo for Senior Citizen Day. A great day in the sun and enjoying the animals. The Giraffe encounter was our favorite. 🦒

We appreciate it when family members join our community and participate in activities with our residents. Special thanks to Debra for hosting a crocheting and knitting class! We had a great time and truly valued your company and companionship. We enjoyed it immensely and so did she, that next month she will be visiting again! Thank you Debra! We look forward to it. ❤️
