The Motive is seeking a licensed physical therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering top-tier care, is excited about continuous learning, and thrives in a collaborative setting. If you want to evolve in your clinical practice and deliver 1-on-1 care with the aim of being the best you can be, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
* Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
* Deliver hands-on therapy and guide patients through exercises and modalities
* Educate patients and families on home programs and preventative care
* Collaborate with physicians, other therapists, and staff to ensure holistic patient care
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications:
* Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree
* Active [State] Physical Therapy license (or eligible for licensure)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Preferred:
* Experience in outpatient orthopedics or pelvic health
* Board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) or intent to pursue that designation and/or fellowship training
* Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation

Dr. Sayeg has joined our group of rockstar physical therapists at bringing his enthusiasm and experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.

Alfredo is board-certified in orthopedic PT and has undergone additional training in dry needling, blood flow restriction, and advanced therapeutic exercise.

Thinking about a total knee replacement? There are over 1 million done per year and we see a lot of people in our clinic after and before this surgery. One common thread is the lack of what to expect regarding an outcome after surgery. It’s good to see this graphic from a surgeon explain things so well. The fact is, though the lion’s share of recovery happens early, it’s a long slow road to feeling great. Keep that in mind when planning activities around a big surgery (the knee joint is the biggest joint in the human body!) like this one.

Throw back to a few weeks ago when a patient brought in all of these different pillows to adjust their neck position sleeping.

If you’re having neck symptoms or headache when sleeping, there’s a chance the pillows need to be adjusted.

The cardinal rule: pillows are meant to SUPPORT your body where it is, not FORCE IT into a different position.
