On 68 acres of natural Maine beauty, Dirigo Pines is a lovely retirement community in Orono offering beautiful cottages, spacious independent living and a full continuum of assisted living options. The continuum of care at Dirigo Pines includes specialized care and memory loss care services for its residents. We are two miles from UMaine and five miles from Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Dirigo Pines warmly welcomed our cottage neighbors for a holiday-themed wine and cheese gathering, and what a night it was! With our largest turnout ever- over 60 community members, the room was filled with laughter, great conversation, and plenty of holiday cheer.
