February is one of my favorite months of the year. It brings great anticipation of Spring.

I look to Valentine’s as a celebratory point to get me through the last vestiges of Winter with a full heart even when I see so much out in the world that brings me down emotionally and spiritually. 💖

I created a Botanical Perfume as an ode to Veriditas. It is lovingly named, Veriditas.

This perfume has not yet ever been released into my product range.

But I love this bit of history and really tried to encompass through the medium of scent the feeling and aroma of the green world. Our duty to steward the planet is deepened by our relationship with the green world.

I know I would wither like a dried up rose hip if I only had access to the concrete jungle of modern living.

Part of my family comes from these mountains. As much as I don’t want a solar farm in the pristine wild lands in Coyote Creek in CA, I don’t want to see data centers in the Appalachian Mountains either.

I have been pondering the fact that these data centers or power centers are because of AI and companies like META. Things people use everyday. So while we fight to keep this technology from destroying our wild environments I encourage us all to take a real deep look at how we as users are perpetuating this in the first place.

Don’t follow the narrative to live your life, know it to be informed.
