There are times we can look fear in the eyes and bust through the illusion, realizing what we are afraid of is actually no longer a fear, no longer an issue and move forward.
Other times, the fear is real and there’s no way we can convince ourselves otherwise. This is when we must dig deeper for the connection to our soul, to Spirit, and to the Creator to look right at the fear and say “I see you, I hear you, but I’m doing it anyway.”
If we wait for this type of fear to go away before we make our move, we will wait forever. It’s not going away because we can never convince ourselves it isn’t real when it is.
Where the work is, is to remind ourselves that we CAN hold ourselves through it, if it does happen. We CAN and WILL love ourselves, support ourselves, seek the support of our community, and lean on Spirit.
We can promise not to abandon our inner child or shame ourselves if things go awry.
We can also lean into the truth that not all chaos is bad, not all endings are the end, and sometimes what seems to be the worst thing ever is often the start of a beautiful new chapter.
Depending on the situation, we have the choice to acknowledge the fear and move anyway.
