Happy Wednesday, Hope all is well.
Its been a while and I thought, what a perfect day for a fun dental fact. 💡
Research shows that a new toothbrush can remove more plaque than one that is worn out. As the bristles become worn they become more prone to bacterial or fungal growth.
Also wanted to make sure you all know that we are up and running for all your dental needs!!

Hello,
As the mandatory stay-at-home order comes to an end, our team is diligently preparing to see patients in our office again soon. We will be opening on Monday May 18th, with extended hours and days to better serve you! We are implementing new required protocols to ensure the safety and health of our patients and team. Here are a few of the changes you can expect:
• Increased frequency of surface disinfecting
• Pre-screening questions at appointment confirmation
• Plexi-glass shields at the front desk
• Screening and temperature reading at time of appointment
• Face coverings required to enter office
• Only the appointed patient will be able to enter the office unless the patient is a minor.
If your previous appointment was cancelled due to our COVID-19 closure, we want to assure you that getting you rescheduled is our top priority. You should be receiving a phone call from our office within a week or two.
We are closely following recommendations from the CDC and ADA, as well as updated OSHA standards to ensure the safety and health of all our patients. Your oral health remains our top priority and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Our mission with the Smile Recovery Project is simply to use the gift of a new smile to inspire deserving members of our community to further their personal and work goals. We all know how much a smile means when meeting new friends or interviewing for jobs.
Each of our first two Project Smile recipients are graduates of a local rehabilitation program and are employed in the Oroville community.
Tony, came to Dr. Lawson not wanting to smile because of the loss of his front teeth. Once Tony received his new smile, he couldn’t stop smiling! Tony Recently got married and happily smiled all day at his reception!
Larry was also missing front teeth, and not smiling as much as he wanted to. His new smile gives him the confidence to laugh and smile! He is a character.
Tonya, sadly lost everything in the Paradise Camp Fire. Nancy Ritchie, a friend from Oroville Rotary was volunteering at the Red Cross, identified Tonya as someone in need and brought her to our office. We were able to give Tonya her smile back!
We look forward to selecting our next recipient of the Smile Recovery Project and delivering a new smile!
