This weekend, I completed the Level 1 Pelvic Health Training through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.

This course was my first step toward specializing in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, and I’m so excited to keep learning. Level 1 focused on the foundations of pelvic floor anatomy, function, and dysfunction — including how pelvic health impacts bladder, bowel, and sexual function, as well as core stability and postpartum recovery. 💪😊

I left the weekend feeling inspired and grateful to be expanding my skills to help individuals improve their quality of life. ✨

Last week I was able to attend an Intro to Hippotherapy course at CHUM Therapeutic Riding — where healing, growth, and connection happen through the incredible bond between horse and human. 🐴💙�

Through Equine Assisted Services, Bonnie, her staff, and volunteers help riders of all abilities grow stronger—physically, emotionally, and socially.

Whether it’s therapeutic riding, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language training, using hippotherapy, or recreational lessons, every moment in the saddle builds confidence, balance, focus, and joy.��

The horse’s rhythmic, three-dimensional movement mimics the human walk, helping improve balance, posture, coordination, strength, and motor planning. Riders experience gains in core stability, muscle tone, speech, and breathing.��

But the magic doesn’t stop there — the emotional benefits are just as powerful. Each session fosters confidence, independence, joy, and self-esteem, often creating progress that feels more like play than therapy. ✨

With Autumn comes shorter days and lower temperatures 🍂 In response to the cold, muscles contract, circulation slows, and we may feel more tense, heavy, and experience fatigue. 😴

Massage Therapy can support the body during this season in many ways:

As Massage Therapy Awareness Week comes close to an end, I would love to share my gratitude and appreciation for my field. 🥰

For almost 14 years, I have been blessed to help people find healing, comfort, and relief through physical touch. 🤲 In such a technology driven world the power of physical contact is often overlooked. I am so grateful to provide hands on sessions to each person that comes into my care. 💆🏼‍♀️💆‍♂️

Massage therapy is more than a career for me, it is my passion. It has driven me to continuously seek more knowledge and education to be able to provide care to anyone that gets on my treatment table. ✨

Over the years I have received training all over the world in many modalities, including: Traditional Thai Massage, Cupping, Prenatal, Gua Sha Scraping, Ashiatsu, Sarga Bodywork, Lymphatic Drainage, Arvigo Abdominal Therapy, Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Counseling, Yoga Teaching, and Aerial Yoga. 🌍🧘‍♀️📚

I now find myself one year away from receiving my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at The University of Michigan. 👩‍🎓📚

I want to thank everyone that has supported me and continues to trust me with your care and healing journeys. I hope my work reflects that this is more than just a massage, its an experience designed with empathy, intuition, and heart. 💜
