From Dr. Al Ross, CEO of OAHS: A Vision Realized at OAHS!
After more than two years of planning, collaboration, and unwavering commitment, we are proud to share that the MRI pod has officially been installed at Ortonville Area Health Services!

This milestone is more than just a construction update—it’s a bold step forward in our mission to bring advanced imaging services to our region. As a 5-star facility, OAHS is committed to delivering exceptional care, and this new MRI capability will significantly augment our services and improve access to timely, high-quality diagnostics for our patients.

I am extremely proud of the work being done at OAHS. This installation represents our next step toward becoming a regional healthcare system—one that continues to grow, innovate, and serve with excellence.

We are deeply grateful to the OAHS Board of Directors for their steadfast leadership, and to our patients and community members for their tireless support and belief in this vision. Your trust and encouragement have been the foundation of this project.

The MRI Pod was safely placed on its foundation this morning. We're processing some timelapse video of the project and will share that when it is available. Nice work Hasslen Construction and Schaefer Crane Service on a job well done!

The MRI pod has made it to OAHS. Isn’t she a beauty?!! 🤩 We thank you all so much for your patience with traffic disruptions, and thank you to all the crews and the Big Stone County Sheriff's Office for your hard work ensuring its safe arrival.

The OAHS MRI pod has made it to Ortonville! It is currently parked on the outskirts of town. Later today, it will be guided to the OAHS campus. Early tomorrow morning, the crane crew will place it in its final spot.

The crane is getting set up to drop the new MRI pod in place. Exciting things are happening at OAHS!

‼️ Monday and Tuesday, crews will be working on installation of our MRI pod. If you need emergency care on Monday or Tuesday, please avoid Otto Avenue and park in the front lot of OAHS. Enter the building through the main clinic doors, and nursing staff will guide you to the ER. A plan is in place to ensure EMS ambulance services will continue to have direct access to the ER during this time.
