Pennsylvania’s Medicaid reimbursement rate for Direct Care Workers is one of the lowest in the region just $20.63 compared to $25–$36 in neighboring states.

This decades-long underfunding is fueling a workforce crisis, with 112,000+ home care shifts going unfilled each month. We must act now to raise rates, support our caregivers, and ensure seniors and people with disabilities can remain safely in their homes.
