What do we contemplate in Contemplative Yoga?
Right now we’re exploring January’s theme of Grounded Fluidity.
Sounds made up (maybe because I made it up😆).
And they sound contradictory - solid/liquid.
But - as we’re discovering, they’re actually complimentary. One makes the other possible and vice-versa.
Last week we discussed how we want our vital life force energy to freely flow through our beings. (In yoga, we call this prana.) Just like a flowing river or stream, we want to effortlessly flow through the obstacles of life. We want to be flexible, have the ability to redirect, and serve our purpose with ease.
This week we’re going to explore why we need the sturdy banks (the boundaries and framework) in our lives to keep that flow going.
Do you already have sturdy banks that guide and support your flow of prana? If so, I’d love to hear about them in the comments.
Maybe you’re craving a little support in building up your banks.
If so, two things:
1. Click on the link below to read the rest of this blog where I share suggestions for creating some gentle boundaries, AND I reveal where I could ‘build up my banks’ as well.
2. Come to Contemplative Yoga! We’ll meditate, we’ll contemplate, we’ll move, we’ll build community. Wednesdays at 10:00am or 5:30pm at the Higher Power Health Studio in Osage City.
