⏰ Daylight Saving Time starts this weekend!

We’ll “spring forward” one hour on Sunday, so don’t forget to set your clocks ahead before going to bed Saturday night.

A few quick tips to help make the time change a little easier (even without sunshine):

✔️ Shift your bedtime slightly earlier over the next couple of nights.
✔️ Turn on extra indoor lighting in the morning to help your body wake up.
✔️ Use the time change as a reminder to check smoke detector and CO detector batteries.
✔️ Double-check your alarms, especially if you have early plans on Sunday.

Continuing education is a core part of emergency medicine, and our experienced clinical team routinely trains to stay sharp and prepared for any situation. That’s why we welcomed the University of Iowa’s SIM Truck to MCRHC Osage today.

Simulation in Motion–Iowa (SIM‑IA) brings advanced simulated clinical learning directly to communities across Iowa. The SIM Truck’s high‑fidelity simulation mannequins allow our staff to practice complex scenarios, refine techniques, and stay current with best practices.
