Each piece was uniquely colored and designed, a reminder that every person matters, every feeling matters, and we are stronger together when we support one another. ✨

Do you know how to use sunscreen correctly? Follow these tips from the Cancer Society:

☀️Wear sunscreen every day, all year!
☀️ Use enough to cover all exposed skin.
☀️Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before sun exposure.
☀️Use a minimum 30 SPF and make sure your sunscreen isn’t expired.
☀️Reapply sunscreen every two hours.
☀️Be sure to protect spots like your lips, ears, and feet!

☀️ What an incredible night at our Summer Kick Off Event! To say it was a success would be an understatement. We were overwhelmed by the amazing turnout from families all across Mitchell County who came together for an evening full of fun, learning, and community connection. 🎉

A huge THANK YOU to all of our local and state partners who joined us, along with the many community businesses and organizations that helped support this event. From the bounce houses and games to the car seat checks, fire truck rides, safety education, and family activities, it truly took a community effort. ❤️

On behalf of Mitchell County Public Health and the Osage Public Library, we are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and everyone who helped make this event such a memorable evening. We are proud to serve such an amazing county!
