Bring your unwanted and unused prescription medication to the Paola Price Chopper on April 22nd from 10AM - 2PM for the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. We will be set up in the parking lot, look for our Command Center!

Please do not bring the following:

-Sharps (needles) 💉
-Aerosols (sprays) 💊
-V**e Pens or Cartridges 🚬

Cant make the event? No problem, you can come to the Sheriff's Office, 24/7 and drop off unwanted prescription medication in our drop box located in the lobby.

Both National Prescription Drug Take Back Day and the Sheriff's Office drop box are completely confidential. No information is obtained by those dropping medication off.

In October 2022 there was 647,163 lbs of prescription medication disposed of from the Take Back Day. 7,464 lbs came from the State of Kansas.

Have any unwanted and unused prescription medication you need to get rid of?

We will be participating in the on October 29th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Paola Walmart.

Cant make it to the event? No problem. We have a prescription medication bin located in the Sheriff's Office lobby that is available 24/7 to dispose of prescription medication.

A few things to know before disposing your unwanted and unused medication.

- No sharps/needles will be allowed.
- No aerosols
- Completely Confidential
- Does not have to be in original bottle/packaging
