Today we celebrate the five-year anniversary of Global Medical Response. Although GMR is celebrating its fifth year, the companies that make up the GMR family bring decades of experience delivering medical transportation, mobile medic, and federal services to communities across the country. We are honored to celebrate this milestone and look forward to many more years of providing care to the world at a moment’s notice.

On Tuesday, March 7 at 10 a.m., the National Weather Service will carry out a Tornado Drill. All individuals are encouraged to take part in the drill by practicing finding a secure and safe location to take shelter from a tornado. The drill will be broadcasted through NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio and select local television and radio stations. Additionally, local authorities may also activate their warning sirens.

Kansas experiences a wide variety of summertime severe weather, including: tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail, and flash flooding. Residents are encouraged to use this week to review their severe weather safety plans. Practice what you would do as if the event was REAL.
