As we enter into the fall season, we have been reminiscing on all of the fun summer adventures we’ve had, and our trip to the park was definitely one for the books.

It was a day of perfect weather, sunshine, food, and company! We enjoyed a classic picnic meal with bubbles, walks along the trails, and lots of good conversation. The joy and laughter had in that short amount of time was just what our souls needed and sent everyone home in amazing spirits!

The colors capture the end of summer so beautifully, and bring the most perfect amount of light and joy to our resident’s rooms! What a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon!🪴🌷

Looking for s’more behind the scenes pictures? 📸🎞️

Well, we have got you covered! Last week we had our annual s’mores bar party, and they were certainly the most perfect ooey gooey sweet treat!

All the residents were extra happy campers! 🏕️Each year we create a custom and creative menu with a wide variety of unique s’mores combinations, and the residents definitely aren’t shy to try every flavor!

What a fun way to spend a summer afternoon!🍫🔥🪵🌞

Nothing like a warm summer day at the drive in, and a delicious root beer float shared in good company! ☀️🥤🍔

We go to the Taylors Falls Drive In every summer, and it is an absolute blast every time! Residents love spending time in the fresh summer air and enjoying a nostalgic treat off the menu of a local hot spot.

It is a wonderful opportunity for residents to kick back, relax, and enjoy some time off campus with friends and family.🌻🍦☀️

🎬 LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!!🎬

Last week we had an extra special evening program in honor of one of our former residents.

This gentleman was well known by his loved ones for his love of the Lawrence Welk Show, therefore, in his memory some of his close family and friends came together to host a viewing party special for our residents. It was such an incredible reminiscent opportunity and brought so much joy to every resident in attendance. It was wonderful to see everyone singing along to the music and captivated by all the familiar and impressive performances. We even had a bubble machine to make the evening feel like we were actually in the audience of Lawrence Welk! 🫧

Hopefully we can continue to make evenings like these a regular thing!🍿📽️🫧

Fawn Doe Rosa is paws-itively our favorite place to visit in the summer!🐾🦔🦥

We had a Pawe-sum time learning about and engaging with a wide range of fur-tastic animals. Residents absolutely adore their time spent interacting with the animals, and spending time outdoors. At Fawn Doe Rosa, staff provide our residents with an incredible hand-on and inclusive experience. Individuals are given the opportunity to explore the park independently, while also being offered one on one time with various species, and a brief background of information on each animal. It is always amazing to see all the joy and paws-itivity an outing like this one can bring to our residents’ day.

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and were been able to enjoy celebrating all the fathers’ and father figures in their life!

Last week we were sure to take the time to celebrate all the fathers here at Eagle Ridge with our annual Father’s Day Barbeque. It is always great to see families come together to celebrate their loved ones, and to express all the love and gratitude they share. Our barbeque consisted of a variety of impressive cuisine, special treats to go with, and laughter, chatter, and music to fill the room.

What a fun afternoon!
