**UPDATE**
Blake was discharged from the hospital yesterday. He has to have 24 hour care. The doctor gave us the option of an inpatient recovery center or outpatient, as long as I could provide the care needed. I am happy to say that I will be providing 24 hour care at home for him, while he recovers. We do not know what this road will look like, as everyone's road to recovery is different, but I'm beyond grateful that he is home and still with us! Please continue to pray for Blake as he recovers. Thank you all for continued prayers, love, and support! ❤️

The physical therapist had Blake up and walking. He was able to walk a little bit. He has been in a lot of pain this morning but that is to be expected. Little by little he is starting to show his true personality. The nurses say that he is one of the funniest patients they have had. Everyday he amazes us with his progress. We have a long road to recovery but remain very hopeful!

Blake is awake and is able to talk with us. They had him up and walking today. He ate a couple bites of biscuits & gravy and has been able to get in plenty of fluids in on his own. Today we will see the speech therapist and the Optometrist to see whether surgery is required. We met with the trauma team and they are simply amazed at his progress.

Blake has made a significant amount of progress in the last 48 hours. He is now able to fully breathe on his own. They have removed his neck brace and catheter. He has woke up and has been able to talk to us a little bit. The doctor said that they are amazed at his progress. We are waiting to visit with the trauma doctor where they will ask him questions to see what commands he is able to do and test his cognitive abilities. We will be getting another CT scan to monitor his brain bleed and to ensure that it has not progressed. Please keep praying!

Peacefully sleeping….
Doctors said that it is a miracle that he is alive. Blake has made amazing progress in the last 24 hours. Keep the prayers coming!!

**Update**
They have taken Blake off sedation and removed the breathing tube! They are continuing to monitor his brain bleed and activity. He is a fighter!!!!

God is SO good!!!!

We are creating this page to keep all our friends and family informed and updated regarding Blake’s injuries and recovery.

As most of you are aware, Blake was in a rollover accident yesterday afternoon and life flighted to Mercy. He has a small brain bleed on the right side of the brain, a fracture to the right orbital eye, and possible brain damage.

Please keep Blake in your prayers!
