We are excited to offer Mammograms on site! (Limited to the first 22 ladies). July 1st Mercy Mobile will be in Osceola, in the parking lot from 8-2! This is offered to all women regardless of insurance or ability to pay. Must not have had a mammogram within the past year an no prior breast concerns. Call with any questions and to schedule 417-820-2709!
Prizes will be given out for someone who makes and attends their appointment too!

It's time to spring into action for better health! Want to know a great way to start? Attend an upcoming informational class on hypertension!

When: Wednesday, March 25th at 10:15
Where: EMH Conference Room
Presented by: St. Clair County Health Center Public Health Nurse, Corey Dobbs.
Information to be covered: Overview of hypertension, risk factors, lab tests, prevention, and MORE.
Who the class is for: EVERYONE

This class is the start of a collaboration between EMH and the St. Clair Co Health Center to provide the community with monthly classes over various health topics. Classes will be hosted by EMH and presented by Public Health Nurse, Corey Dobbs. New topics will be covered each month.

In addition to these FREE information classes, the St. Clair County Health Center also offers:
-Birth & Death Certificates
-Well Water Testing
-Car Seats (for parents who can't afford one)
-Car Seat Checks
-Narcan (free)
-Safe Crib Program (gives free pack and play with bassinet to those who qualify)

We have thunderstorms later today and into the night. St Clair County’s identified to be in zone 3 (enhanced risk).

Shelters will be informed to be available before the estimated storm arrival time which is 7:00pm -5:00am. These following locations were identified so far to be a storm shelter:

Assistance is available for uninsured or self-pay individuals seeking free mammogram resources. The mobile mammogram will be in Osceola at the Health Center on July 1st.
