Aspen Sky Designs hand crafts unique and custom cremation urns in our (Bruce and Noelle) family workshop. Back in 2009, Noelle’s mom passed away unexpectedly at the age of 57 while we were on our honeymoon. It instantly took life from the highest of joyful moments to the lowest. Later in 2014, we lost Bruce’s dad after a short battle with cancer. We have spent the years since then finding ways to help others who have experienced loss. In 2015, we purchased a fixer-upper, A-frame house in the beautiful St. The property also had a large pole barn and a rundown peacock coop. After restoring the home and converting the coop into a relaxing bunkhouse, we turned our sights to transforming the horse barn into a bustling, family workshop. In 2022, after taking three months as a family to travel,rejuvenate, explore, and dream in places like Egypt, Türkiye, Dubai, Switzerland, Italy, and Scotland we came back to America and knew the time was right to start our next chapter. Aspen Sky Designs was founded in 2022 as a way to help others by combining our skill sets with what we have learned through grief. We saw a gap in what was available and knew people were looking for more personalized options than mass produced urns. As a woodworker, Bruce builds each urn, then urns are hand painted by Noelle, a professional artist of 30+ years. We focus on quality, uniqueness, and customization. Why choose AspenSky Designs? Received this touching photo from a client named Lisa. She set up this memorial setting to honor her sweet dog. This is the Southwest Mountain Desert Sunset urn design; it feels like the perfect fit in that stunning setting. I’m working out the design on this new Sedona cremation urn. Deciding how whimsical to make it vs more realistic. What do we think, are we feeling the striping sky? My vision was that its energy all around there but not sure, maybe O should lighten it up the deep blue a bit?… I’d love your thoughts
