❤️‍🩹 Today is World Health Day! ❤️‍🩹

Health and wellness are more than eating right and exercising (though those are very important!) Physical and mental health are deeply, inextricably linked, with each profoundly influencing the other. Poor mental health can trigger physical illness like heart disease and weakened immunity, while chronic physical conditions often lead to mental health struggles. Understanding the relationship between them helps you take control of your wellness!

Take a look at these areas of your life when assessing your health and wellness:

💖Physical wellness
💖Emotional wellness
💖Intellectual wellness
💖Spiritual wellness
💖Environmental wellness
💖Social wellness
💖Occupational wellness

Who knew there were so many areas that affect our physical and emotional states? This is a lot to balance, so don't be afraid to ask for help bridging the gap between your mental and physical health.
