Important Information About New Patient Appointments

New patient appointments are scheduled in the order in which completed intake paperwork is received. Please note that we do not collect a deposit or hold appointment times until all required forms have been filled out and returned to our office.

If you have been contacted and given an estimated timeframe for a new patient appointment, please understand that this estimate is very likely to change if there is a delay in submitting your paperwork. Appointment availability can shift quickly due to high demand, and we are only able to schedule once all required documents are on file.

All new patients are placed on a cancellation list. We are doing everything we can to ensure that those seeking care are seen as soon as possible, but please understand there are only so many intakes we can physically accommodate each month.

Due to Evelyn’s upcoming family leave and the exceptionally high number of tick bite-related cases this year, new patient visits are currently booking into January 2026. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

If you have questions about the intake process or need help completing your paperwork, please don’t hesitate to contact our office.

🌿 LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT 🌿

Meet Evelyn Andersen, FNP + Owner of Green Medicine of Wisconsin — a Motherhood Alliance Directory member, podcast guest, and holistic powerhouse.

Evelyn’s journey with Green Medicine started back in 2018 when she first shadowed the clinic. She kept coming back — not just because of the care being provided, but because it felt right.

In her words:
🗣 “Our philosophies were perfectly in sync in wanting to create a space where patients felt seen, heard, and truly supported in their healing journey.”

Originally founded by Dr. Kevin Green in 2013, the mission of Green Medicine has always been to support patients with complex, chronic conditions — the ones who often fall through the cracks in the traditional system. Evelyn officially took over ownership in 2023 and has continued to grow this integrative, deeply personalized clinic with the same passion and purpose.

✨ What they specialize in:
Lyme and tick-borne illness (adults + kiddos), hormone health, nutrition, metabolic support, and aging well — all through the lens of root-cause medicine, circadian biology, and homeopathy. Evelyn’s care goes deep, because healing isn’t linear — and she’s here for the whole body, not just the symptoms.

We’re so honored to have Green Medicine Wisconsin as a part of the Alliance! 💛

👉 Head to Green Medicine Wisconsin's Motherhood Alliance profile to learn more about their work — and definitely check out her episodes on the podcast for a deeper dive into Lyme Disease, circadian health, healing journeys, and more.

Important Clinic Reminders & Fall Planning

We’re reaching out with a friendly reminder to help support your care and avoid any delays or disruptions in the months ahead. As shared recently, Evey will be taking a planned Family Leave this fall, with her last day seeing patients scheduled for Thursday, October 2nd, 2025. During her time away, Green Medicine will remain open with regular hours for IV therapy, massage, EVOX sessions, Skin Pen Microneedling, and supplement orders or pickups.

To prevent delays or interruptions in your treatment plan, we strongly encourage you to keep all scheduled appointments. If you're due for follow-up or are considering care before fall, now is a great time to get on the schedule — new patient appointments are already filling quickly.

Here are a few friendly clinic reminders:

CANCELATION & NO-SHOW POLICY

We kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Missed appointments or short-notice changes will result in a fee. This policy helps us honor the time and needs of all our patients and maintain a smooth clinic flow.

RESCHEDULE POLICY

We understand that life happens — but to keep care accessible and respectful for all, we’ve established a clear reschedule policy. If you are an existing patient and have two no-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice), or if you cancel and reschedule 2 appointments in a row, we will require prepayment before rescheduling a third time. This helps us maintain availability for all patients and ensures consistency in your treatment plan.

ORDERING SUPPLEMENTS

Supplements can be ordered in person at the clinic, by phone, or through our online store. If you're ordering online, we’re happy to provide recommendations or refill guidance to make the process simple and personalized. Store Password: green1259

MEDICATION REFILLS

Please allow 3–5 business days for prescription refills. For efficiency and safety, we recommend requesting refills by calling the clinic directly. Supplements can often be refilled more quickly.

COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES

Most non-urgent questions are best addressed during appointments to ensure quality, context-based care. For time-sensitive concerns, the best way to reach us is through the patient portal or by calling the clinic. Please call the office or message nursing staff via the patient portal for any sort of follow-up, treatment, recommendations, or specific questions to your care. Please refrain from messaging Evey directly through the patient portal as these are not seen in a timely manner. Questions about medical concerns must be answered via HIPAA compliant methods. We are unable to respond to any specific medical inquiries via social media or email. This is both for legal reasons and to ensure continuity of care.

It is our policy to return all patient calls within 48–72 business hours. We make every effort to respond as promptly as possible, but we ask for your patience as we prioritize timely communication.

Additionally, Evey is typically with patients during office days, which means the best way to get answers to your questions is by communicating with our skilled nursing team. Our nurses are highly trained to address your concerns, provide guidance, and triage any issues. They ensure that matters requiring urgent attention are promptly brought to Evey's attention. This process allows us to respond efficiently and prioritize your care. Thank you for understanding and working with us to support your health and well-being!

For follow-up questions, treatment recommendations, or specific concerns, please contact us through the patient portal or call the office directly. To maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations, we cannot respond to medical inquiries via social media or email. This ensures continuity of care and protects your privacy.

ROUTINE FOLLOW UP CARE

For the safety and continuity of care, it is essential for patients to attend routine follow-up appointments. These visits allow us to assess your progress, monitor your condition, and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan. As part of our policy, patients are required to be seen at least once per year for prescriptions. However, most of our patients may require more frequent routine visits. This ensures that we can properly evaluate your ongoing treatment needs and provide safe, effective care.

We are always open to exploring new treatment options for active patients and have never declined a request to evaluate potential therapies. However, all medications, even those with promising results, can have potential side effects or interactions. Therefore, we carefully assess each treatment to ensure it is both safe and appropriate for your individualized care.

We understand that some patients may expect prescriptions to be provided over the phone without adequate follow-up care. However, this practice presents significant safety concerns and does not align with our commitment to thorough, personalized care. We appreciate your understanding as we uphold these standards to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our patients.

If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help ensure your care continues smoothly, both now and during Evey’s brief time away.

Warmly,
The Green Medicine of Wisconsin Team

Green Medicine of Wisconsin

Green Medicine of Wisconsin is a blend of integrative and traditional medicine. Our goal is to optimize your lifestyle, nutrition, exercise and sleep to promote the best possible health.

Green Medicine of Wisconsin believes in an individual one-on-one approach to medicine as there is no one size fits all. Each treatment approach is individually designed to address that person’s unique needs. Initial appointments are usually 2 hours long. Questions are encouraged and every effort is made to give you a complete understanding of your conditions and your treatment.

A strong emphasis is placed on a healthy lifestyle rather than just medication alone. We realize there are times when pharmaceuticals are needed but look for ways to minimize this. Our goal is to optimize your lifestyle, nutrition, exercise and sleep to promote the best possible health.

Green Medicine of Wisconsin has evolved from our collective experience of nearly 40 years in medicine. We strive to stay at the cutting edge of technology and are early adopters of promising new technology. The treatment of Lyme disease and associated infections is a large component of this practice.
