Last but not least, to round out Nurses’ Week, we have our two lovely Nurse Practitioners!

On the left is our owner and primary provider, Evey! A fun fact about Evey is that she was a competitive figure skater for many years when she was younger! She still loves to skate! ⛸️

On the right is Jamie! She has been a nurse at Green Medicine for 4 years and has been flying solo in her NP role for a little over a month! A fun fact about Jamie is that she used to train for competitive power lifting and my max deadlift was 315 lbs! 🏋🏼‍♀️

Today let’s recognize two more on our team!

On the left: Amy just celebrated one year at Green Medicine! A fun fact about Amy is that she’s has wanted to be a nurse since she was in 2nd grade! She also can do a “crazy bird whistle”! 🐦

On the right: Jo Ann has been with us for 4 1/2 years. She worked as a CNA for 26 years and is now the first face you see most days when you come in as she mans the desk! A fun fact about Jo Ann is her love for plants! She has over 40 house plants! 🪴

Meet part of your nursing team!! We’re celebrating Nurses week through the 12th!

Back left: Sarah started with us TODAY!! A fun fact about Sarah is that she’s currently taking classes through the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine!

Back Middle: Martha has been with us for 7 months. A fun fact about her is that she can do a one-handed cartwheel!

Back Right: Ashley has been with us a year and a half. A fun fact about Ashley is that she’s double jointed!

Front: Kate celebrates her 9-year anniversary with us on the 15th of this month! A fun fact about Kate is that she takes ballroom dance lessons with her husband Paul and has competed in one competition so far!

Hi all!

We wanted to share a quick scheduling update: Green Medicine of Wisconsin is currently fully booked, and the first available appointments (including for established patients) are not until the end of June.

Evelyn is still accepting new patients, but those visits will be scheduling into August.

Jamie is currently accepting new patients to decrease wait times with a few limitations. At this time, she cannot see patients who are have any state-funded insurance such as Medicare or Medicaid. She is also only able to see patients age 16 and older.

If you are considering canceling or needing to reschedule your appointment, we strongly encourage switching to a virtual visit instead. Appointments can be completed by phone or video, and this can help you avoid a significant delay, as it will likely be over two months before we are able to get you back in.

Because availability is so limited, we kindly ask for as much advance notice as possible for any cancellations or changes so we can offer that time to someone else who may be waiting.

Because we are already seeing such high tick activity , we are in the process of setting up Jamie to be able to see patients for acute tick bite visits only. Stay tuned for more on this in the next few weeks.

We truly appreciate your understanding and your support in helping us care for as many patients as possible.
