To my wonderful patients,

I wanted to give everyone a quick update regarding the office. While I had hoped to return sooner following my procedure, I am finding that I need additional time to heal and recover properly.

At this time, I will remain out of the office until I feel confident that I can return and provide the level of care, focus, and attention my patients know and deserve. My goal is not just to come back quickly, but to come back healthy and able to give 100% to each patient.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, kind messages, and support during this time. I have a follow-up appointment next week and will continue to provide updates as I know more.

Just a quick heads up for some of our patients—

During UnitedHealthcare’s transition from paper to electronic Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) over the past year, we recently discovered that a small number of EOBs were not received at the time.

As we’ve worked through reconciling accounts, those have now been located, and a few patients may receive updated statements for past visits.

If you receive a statement and have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always happy to go over things with you.

This issue has been identified and corrected moving forward.

First I want to thank everyone for their well wishes, thoughts and prayers during this time. I also want to announce that I will be back in the office for a limited number of hours tomorrow Friday December 19. I have not had a chance to reach out to those whose appointments had to be cancelled. However I will start this process over the next few days. Ohana Chiropractic will be closed tomorrow Monday December 15th. Dr. Milisa’s grandpa passed away and she has been out of the office since Thursday to be with family. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time that she needs with family. All missed calls and messages will be returned when Dr. Milisa is able to return to the office.
