🌿 A huge thank you to the Oshkosh Seniors Center for hosting and to Learning in Retirement at Evergreen for organizing Dr. 's presentation “Immune Support Strategies”!

We were blown away by the turnout (we even had to take down a wall to make room for everyone 😅) and so grateful to each of you who came. 🙌 Your curiosity, thoughtful questions, and personal stories turned this into a truly interactive and energizing event.

✨ A highlight? The deep dive into magnesium—one of Dr. JJ Allen’s most commonly recommended supplements, but also one with plenty of nuance. It was inspiring to see so much interest in taking charge of your health!

🤗What an exciting day for the Sawyer Street crew! Beth brought in little Miss Louise 🦮 from Custom Canines to visit the store today!

To date, Hometown has raised over $8,000 to donate to the academy to provide one OR TWO trained service dogs to a veteran/first responder in Wisconsin! 🤯

💊What is your favorite part about working at Sawyer Street Hometown Pharmacy?
👩🏼Being able to be myself and when having a bad day they care and check in on you.

💊Why independent pharmacy?
👩🏼I have worked in the big chain pharmacy and now an independent pharmacy. I will say I have expanded my knowledge and learning more here at Hometown Pharmacy than just dispensing medications. The relationships that are made with the patients; it's not just a "Hi, can I help you?"

💊What do you like to do outside of work?
👩🏼 Outside of work I like to watch my 2 boys do demolition derbies or races. Spending time with my boys is the best! I enjoy going to casinos and listening to the rain...definitely on a metal roof!

👩🏻 The relationships between patients and staff. Not only do I adore the bonds I’ve created with patients, but also being able to witness everyone else’s. Truly feels like a family reunion every time someone walks in.

💊Why independent pharmacy?
👩🏻 I’ve always hated the “numbers” mentality. I want to truly be able to help patients in any sort of way and have the place I work for reflect that outlook. You just don’t get that anywhere else.

💊What do you like to do outside of work?
👩🏻 I have 2 insane cats at home, Sullivan and Boo, they keep me pretty entertained most of the time. I also like to play games, read, and listen to music.

👩🏻‍🦳 Well heck so many reasons. I find laughter is the best medicine and there is alot of laughter all day at the pharmacy. Between co-workers and patients it's always high energy and fun times!

💊Why independent pharmacy?
👩🏻‍🦳 I absolutely love the personal connection I get to have with our patients. We all become family. Watching the pharmacists take the time and care to help ease the mind of our patients is amazing! I'm honored to say I am part of the Sawyer street team!

💊What do you like to do outside of work?
👩🏻‍🦳 I like the typical things, spending time with family and friends. I love road trips, great music (pink pony club) 🩷🦄 my sweet (terror) puppy Tito, watching my son grow into a man ❤️ And becoming a wife in 5 days is super exciting! ❤️💒

👱🏼‍♂️I like the independent pharmacy because it allows for connections to be made with patients. I’m able to get to have conversations with patients and get to know them on a deeper level. In some other experiences of mine this doesn’t occur at the bigger pharmacies.

👱🏼‍♂️Outside of work I like to enjoy time with friends. I also play baseball and lift, which takes up most of my time.
