One of the simplest, most powerful practices I use is abhyanga—an Ayurvedic ritual of applying warm, herbal oil to the body.
It’s not about perfection.
It’s not about having time.
It’s about creating a moment of care.
You can do it for 2 minutes.
You can do it for 20.
You can quickly rub oil into your skin…
or turn it into something slow, quiet, and sacred.
Either way, it works.
It calms the nervous system.
It grounds the body.
It brings you back home to yourself.
And maybe the real restoration isn’t just the oil…
it’s the willingness to meet yourself exactly where you are.
