We are honored to welcome Robert Pettis, MD, as Mahaska Health’s dedicated Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose, and Throat) specialist. With Dr. Pettis joining our team, Mahaska Health is expanding ENT care for our community by offering patients dedicated, expert evaluation and comprehensive treatment close to home.

Dr. Pettis earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he also completed his residency in otolaryngology. He pursued advanced fellowship training in allergy and rhinology with the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, focusing on sinus surgery and head and neck cancers.

Dr. Pettis serves as volunteer faculty training medical students and residents at UCLA. He is the medical and surgical director of Orange Coast Head and Neck Surgery and is the director of the otolaryngology department of Adventist Health in Fort Bragg in Northern California. Dr. Pettis has specialty training in rhinology and sinus surgery and in head and neck cancers. He utilizes advanced robotic instrumentation and technology.

We are grateful to welcome Dr. Pettis and to offer our community access to specialized ENT care at Mahaska Health.
