Today was National Kitten Day and our residents enjoyed painting frames and decorating them for vintage cat pictures!

It is CNA Appreciation Week and we honored our wonderful CNAs yesterday! They had some nice refreshments and took time to design their own masks. We are truly grateful for all they do!!

We had a Memorial Day celebration yesterday on the porch complete with festive parfaits, a patriotic Sing- a-Long, Trivia Time! It was a beautiful day!

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to Alex and Liam Watts for donating three iPads to Victoria Home! These young men are Sophomores at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua and have started a GoFundMe page called iPads For Elders. So far they have raised $1271. and donated many iPads to nursing homes throughout the community. We are so grateful for these exceptional young men!

Victoria Homes “Porch Visits” were featured on News 12 last night! Many of our residents were able to visit with their families through a glass window and had a very Happy Mother’s Day in spite of the current quarantine.

Nursing homes have been forced to shut their doors to visitors, but a facility in Ossining is helping its residents celebrate occasions in a special way.
