Always be learning! Excited to be studying Pha Khaw Ma Thai Massage with the amazing . This course will take a full year to master yoga massage using cloth, and I'm very excited with what I've already learned!

There's something brewing behind the scenes - something different, something huge.

In Numerology, 2026 is a one year, meaning its energy is steeped in opportunity. It's the start of a brand new journey, when the first steps into a new future will land. I'm running with it and going all in, friends. After this next year nothing will ever be the same for me or for Joy Massage ever again, in all the best ways!

I have huge things planned (I actually wrote it down, that's how you know I'm serious.) I can't give all the details yet, but I can promise that you'll see me at more pop ups and events, you'll see new services, and much much more that I can't mention yet. You might even start seeing changes coming in the next few weeks 👀

My goal is always to provide the best bodywork for pain & stress management to our community. I hope this year offers more opportunities to provide the care you need to live life to the fullest ❤️

Start with a relaxing Swedish massage with hot stones and heat packs on a warm table to invite relaxation into the body. This is followed by a luxurious head neck & face massage with optional added essential oils for enhanced relaxation. Thai massage works differently than Swedish massage. No oil is used, clothes stay on, and you get comfortable on a cushioned floor mattress instead of a massage table.

Rather than rubbing painful areas, we're pressing deep into restricted tissue and painful muscles to release. Then we're adding lots of movement and stretching, which further opens the tissue and re-educates the nervous system on where restriction is no longer present.

It'll leave you feeling refreshed, renewed and ready to take on the rest of your responsibilities. Less pain, better movement, more freedom ✨

Traditional Thai Massage incorporates deep assisted stretches, targeted muscle therapy and acupressure for a total body, mind & spirit reset. Thai Massage works the fascia system, a responsive body system that holds memory, emotion, posture and pain patterns. It wraps between and around every part of the body, connecting and supporting throughout life. It's affected by movement, hydration and pressure, and restrictions can be just as painful as muscle injury.

Thai Massage is different than Therapeutic or Swedish - the receiver remains clothed and lays down on a cushioned, warm floor mat to receive massage. So thankful for this weekend! I attended a weekend Thai massage immersion and I learned so, so much! This incredible bodywork modality continues to astound and dazzle me.

This weekend was filled with laughter, learning, peace and love. The instructor was incredible and the work is just amazing. I'm so excited to bring my new education to the mat this week - if you haven't booked yet, make sure you do!
