Divya, Occupational Therapist from Fox rehab, is an angel! Our Higher Path services combined with the Montessori approach promote equality, dignity, and respect for our residents. Losing abilities can be devastating! But Divya knows the essential feature of our Montessori community is freedom of movement. She ordered a custom made “Tilt In Space Chair” for Diane. For the first time in 2 years, she was able to sit in the sun comfortably! Diane says it feels like she is sun tanning again like she did for years. ~Bickford Oswego Assisted Living and Memory Care

On this solemn anniversary of 9/11, we honor the lives lost, the heroes who rose, and the resilience of a nation forever changed.

In senior living, we are privileged to care for many who lived through that day—who remember where they were, who they called, and how they came together in the aftermath. Their stories remind us of the strength found in community, compassion, and courage.

As we reflect, we recommit to serving with empathy and purpose—ensuring every resident feels safe, valued, and supported, just as we all did in the days that followed September 11th.

Bickford Oswego Assisted Living and Memory Care utilizes the Montessori method for dementia care by addressing physical skills. We focus on the person’s existing physical abilities to promote independence, engagement, and a sense of accomplishment through personalized, everyday tasks and activities. Carol has been helping with the dishes which provides purpose and improves her emotional well-being.
