Today was one of those days where I felt completely drained. The laundry piled up, the dishes stayed in the sink, and the house looked like I never even tried. But every time my baby fussed, I sat down and breastfed them. Over and over. And by the end of the day I realized that even though I didn’t get anything else done, my body still spent the whole day nourishing my baby. My milk was still giving them the exact fats, sugars, antibodies, and nutrients they needed to grow.

So if today looked like you sitting on the couch feeding your baby again and again while everything else waited, please know you are not alone. That wasn’t a wasted day. Your body was still doing something incredible. You were feeding them, comforting them, regulating them, and helping them grow all at the same time. Some days breastfeeding really is the biggest thing we accomplish, and that is more than enough. 🤱
